Renew of expired driving license

Hello, does anyone know beside certificate of residency (issue by my embassy), do I need to produce the medical certificate? 
 

I am looking to renew my 2 years driving license (my license already expired, so don’t think I can renew to 5 years). I am looking to renew at Bang Chak DLT. 
 

And for Bang Chak DLT, I read somewhere that you can’t walk in to renew, they will go through all your documents and will give you a date to come back to renew. Is it still the same?
