Top New York Democrats urge Cuomo to resign over sexual harassment allegations

Meanwhile, Biden responds to the Cuomo serial sex abuse saga like a true immoral coward.

"President Joe Biden declined on Sunday to call on New York Governor Andrew Cuomo to resign over sexual misconduct allegations, saying he wanted to await the outcome of an investigation into the matter."

https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/world/biden-refuses-to-join-calls-for-cuomo-to-resign-over-sexual-misconduct-claims/ar-BB1eAABH

I suspect President Biden is unable to condemn Cuomo seeing as Biden himself is alleged to have digitally penetrated(without permission) Ms Reade, while whispering vulgar words in her ear. Condemning this depraved governor would make him a hypocrite as well as a rap&$t. Surprised the dems did not consider this despicable part of Biden's past, maybe they thought they could just censor it every time it crops up and make it all go away. I knew this believe all women/#metoo would become a huge inconvenience for the left once they finally got in power.

Very divisive article.  For sure you fall for sensational lines like that.  For sure not a credible news source:

Links from that site would probably be removed.  Thus, he chose one from MSN.  Figures.

Yes, a very biased opinion. But still she does have a point that Cuomo made some major mistakes in that and seems unwilling to have independents look into it.

As I said earlier, the sexual misconduct allegations, from what I have read, don't impress me much, there doesn't seem to be much wrong, but his handling of the virus does seem totally wrong. I believe in science, and he seems to have acted against medical advice at the point, tried to cover up his mistakes, and is refusing an investigation into it.

Agreed.  But if he resigns due to this, then Trump should have resigned also.  What's fair is fair.

As for the virus, it was a new thing, they didn't really know what was going on with it, etc.  Not trying to defend him, but I'm sure back then it was easy to make mistakes.  Hiding the figures is terrible though.

But I'd not call his actions a "massacre".  A bit over dramatic. LOL

So you bash him because he wants to see the evidence first?  I thought you were innocent till PROVEN guilty?  What's changed here?

At least he's not praising Cuomo.  Something Trump would have done.  Cuomo is a saint compared to Trump. LOL

Impossible to compare the two.  Though seems some will try.

Why do you hate Biden so much?

I don't hate him. But I expect all women to be believed, as was protocol when the left were in opposition. Stormy Daniels must be believed, Christine Blasey-Ford must be believed, so for sure the much more serious allegations against Biden and Cuomo(with a higher level of corroboration now from multiple women) also must be believed. You made the bed, time to lie in it. And yes, I understand it is so annoying and must feel so unfair.

What?  If that was the protocol during Trump's reign of terror, he would have been gone a long time ago.  Fair is fair.

Impossible not to believe Stormy Daniels.  And Trump's going to pay the price for it.  Coming to a theater near you....LOL

Flip-flop: Trump concedes reimbursing his lawyer for hush money paid to Stormy Daniels

Asked aboard Air Force One last month whether he knew about the $130,000 payment, Trump said flatly: 'No'

President Donald Trump said Thursday reimbursement to his personal lawyer for hush money paid to porn actress Stormy Daniels was done through a monthly retainer and “had nothing to do with the campaign.”

On Twitter, Trump says his personal attorney Michael Cohen received a monthly retainer “from which he entered into, through reimbursement, a private contract between two parties, known as a non-disclosure agreement, or NDA.” He added that the agreement “was used to stop the false and extortionist accusations made by her about an affair.”

Strong evidence was offered that Biden's accuser was untrustworthy. Not only in her personal history but the fact that the location she described in the office where she alleged that the attack took place didn't exist.

Personally, I think he should not resign until the investigation is done.   The problem with that is that he may be in a position to not govern well if the tide turns against him in a big way.   This seems to be happening.

I also don't believe that all women have to be believed.  I believe any claim of sexual harassment or abuse should be taken seriously and be investigated.

The bar for this needs to be a little more than 'making someone uncomfortable'.

Yeah, a bizarre thing to say.  Came from Kelsal, from dodgy author tied to the fake news site Washington Examiner.  Journalistic sensationalism at it's worst.

Nice catch.  Still relevant.  If Trump can lie about things and get away with it, why not Cuomo?

P.S. I'm all for ANY politician who lies to get censured.  Sadly, it's not something Trump's supporters agree with. LOL

The leader of the Democratic Party should weigh in on this. At one point he said Cuomo was the "gold standard" in leadership.

He finally did.  Biden says Cuomo will probably be prosecuted.

President Joe Biden said New York Governor Andrew Cuomo should resign if an investigation confirms the multiple sexual harassment allegations made against him by former aides.

“I know you said you want the investigation to continue,” ABC News anchor George Stephanopoulos told Biden in an ABC News interview airing this week. “If the investigation confirms the claims of the women, should he resign?”

“Yes,” Biden replied. “I think he’ll probably end up being prosecuted, too.”

Yes he was even presented with an Emmy for TV appearances LOL!! He deliberately put these poor elderly people in nursing homes even with having use of the hospital ship and temporary hospitals Trump supplied.

These sexual harassment cases are just a cover for the genocide he oversaw. There are investigations being started or touted for NJ, Mich and Penn governors as well for the same crime. Newson's recall has reached over 2 million signatures, wonder if they will have them verified?? Lot of Democrat governors in trouble.

He couldn't have used those Trump hospital ships even if he wanted to.

The 1,000-Bed Comfort Was Supposed to Aid New York. It Has 20 Patients.

A tangle of military protocols and bureaucratic hurdles has prevented the Comfort from accepting many patients at all.

On top of its strict rules preventing people infected with the virus from coming on board, the Navy is also refusing to treat a host of other conditions. Guidelines disseminated to hospitals included a list of 49 medical conditions that would exclude a patient from admittance to the ship.

Sorry but NYT is a fake news outlet and lacks any credibility. Add that NY health commissioner was actively urging people in to the streets to "stand with Wuhan" and Di Blasio telling New Yorkers to get out and support restaurants during Feb/March 2020, it's no wonder with its incompetent and corrupt leadership NY fared so badly! I look forward to seeing all these corrupt Democrat governors pay for their crimes.

Why wouldnt they tell people to go out. Trump told them its under control and nothing to worry about. It will disappear.

Where they wrong to believe the unmasked one?

Are you saying there are no corrupt Republican governors? Hint: there is only one correct answer.....

I get that Cuomo has some other stufg hanging over him but nobody should have to resign because of accusations.

Posted

In the USA a person is "presumed innocent" until proven guilty.  Just like Brett Kavanaugh Cuomo is entitled to present his side of the story.  The fact that there are multiple people accusing him is problematic unlike Kavanaugh that had just one accuser who waited decades to say anything, could not remember any specifics and had no corroboration.

I think most democrats including me would say he should resign.

Democrats need to show a better moral and ethical standard than the Republicans.

That said every case is different.

For example I think Al Franken should not have resigned.

Franken was a sacrificial lamb.

Cuomo is a dodgy mutton.

It is nothing to do with morals.

Accusations like this have become a political tool.

And its not just politics. It could happen to any man, any time with devastating effect.

Gentlemen, it's time to take a stand.
