Not sure if this is the right place to post this or if it should be in the travel forum - hopefully the moderators will decide.

A report on the BBC News tonight (15 March) stated that Qatar will be added to the UK's Red List from Friday this week.  That means that anyone arriving in the UK that has either been in or through Qatar in the 10 days before travel will be subject to restrictions.  I believe those are that in general, Non UK citizens or Non Legal residents will not be allowed to enter the UK.  UK & Irish Nationals and those with Legal Residency will have to quarantine in a hotel for 10 days on arrival in the UK.

The restrictions apply to transit passengers and those coming from Qatar alike.

This will be bad news for those who have booked with Qatar Airlines, they have been one of the most reliable carriers for travel between the UK and Thailand during the current pandemic.
