The chances of HIV transmission from male to female are pretty low with vaginal sex, even lower when it is female to male. The main risk is anal sex without a condom. I understand there are a lot of women in Pattaya who will oblige.

The only Thai female I have condomless sex with is my GF, and it took 2 years before we got around to bareback. Any other woman, it's a condom before any action at all.

Not if   have std's, then hiv can be easier transfered.

I have yet to meet a woman who did not prefer condoms.

I have no problem with them, it's protection for me as well as them. The application of a condom by a woman skilled in the art adds to the pleasure.

My experience is that most girls insist on condoms or will refuse sex. Of course there are a couple that don't but then if they are doing that with you, then they've probably done that with hundreds of other guys before so you should be even more cautious. The chance of contracting HIV from one instance of insertive heterosexual sex with someone who is confirmed positive is about 0.08% for the man. Sometimes we are made to believe that if you have sex with someone that has HIV, then you'll get it too. Another fallacy that is promoted in the West is that condom use makes sex 100% safe, it does not, because you can still catch several STDs whilst wearing a condom which include chlamydia, molloscum contagiosum, genital herpes and genital warts.

It is clearly very very very difficult to catch HIV, trust me, I am trying more than anyone else !

Nobody can give anyone HIV if their viral load is undetectable. It's impossible and has never happened in the whole history of HIV medication.

You are probably far safer in fact having sex with a HIV undetectable person who looks after themselves than a Russian roulette no condom one nighter with a girl/boy from a  bar.

I agree it appears to be difficult to catch otherwise they'd be an epidemic in Pattaya, so many guys don't use a condom. There is a caveat to that which is most don't get tested so maybe it's hidden.

 

Are you circumcised? that reduces the risk by half

If you don't to want to deal with with the risks of contracting HIV or any of other the nasties that are easily treated with a few days of antibiotics, then don't have sex. Likewise, don't ever cross a road because you might get knocked down and killed. Don't go on a plane because it might crash. Don't eat chicken because you might get salmonella. Don't even think about smoking a cigarette or trying a beer. Jesus, sometimes you need to accept that life comes with risks. And none of us are going to live forever so get your backside in gear before you end up in a wheelchair like Colin, life's there to be taken and enjoyed.
