BANGKOK (Reuters) - Thailand's central bank left its key interest rate unchanged at a record low on Wednesday but slightly lowered its 2021 economic growth outlook as the tourism-reliant country recovers slowly from the COVID-19 pandemic.

Phuket tour bus operators seek government help after a year of unemployment

Five attractions named Safety Zone in new tourism campaign

BANGKOK (NNT) - In preparation for the return of tourists after the pandemic, the government as approved a Safety Zone campaign promoting safe tourism attractions. The Department of Tourism has now nominated five tourism areas across the country to pilot this campaign.

Cabinet resolutions for Songkran 2021

BANGKOK (NNT) - A meeting of cabinet ministers yesterday (Mar 23) agreed to extend the use of the emergency decree for two more months, until May 31, and approved guidelines and measures to help limit the spread of COVID-19 during Songkran on the concept of "Songkran in New Normal, Inheriting Thai Culture".

Anutin observes police COVID-19 field hospital

SEC introduces infrastructure promoting capital markets’ digital transformation

PARIS (Reuters) - European leaders failed to see that COVID-19 vaccines would be developed as soon as they were and this was why rollouts in the EU now lagged behind some other countries, French President Emmanuel Macron said in an interview broadcast on Wednesday.
