(Reuters) -Myanmar activists burned copies of a military-framed constitution on Thursday two months after the junta seized power, as a U.N. special envoy warned of the risk of a bloodbath because of an intensified crackdown on anti-coup protesters.

CHIANG MAI, Thailand (Reuters) - Tigers were fed frozen chicken 'popsicles' and enticed to splash in a wading pool at a Thai zoo on Thursday as temperatures rose.

Thailand to see $3.6 bln spending during water festival

BANGKOK, April 1 (Reuters) - Thailand’s consumer spending could jump 64% to 113 billion baht ($3.61 billion) during the upcoming Thai New Year after last year’s slump when tighter coronavirus curbs were in place, the commerce university said on Thursday.

“James Bond Island” in Phang Nga Bay to be assessed for stability

Deputy Director-General of Thailand’s Department of Mineral Resources, Montri Lueng-ingkasoot, said today that they will assess the stability of the limestone karst towers, which make up the chain of islands, after several similar rock formations, in both the Gulf of Thailand and the Andaman Sea, have collapsed.
