What Is It With The Changing Of Names?

Featured Replies

I have seen a number of name changes which can throw the ability to ignore on occasion.

I don't mean the guys who register their real names and then realize the requirement for anonymity, not realizing that knocking off a couple of letters mean that you don't need to be Holmes of the Yard to deduce the origins :D sorry my friend, only kidding :o

Or a derivative of the original because that is what they are generally called on the forum, that makes sense,

but it is the complete change of name that can be a little off-putting, because you don't recognize the name and bang your sucked in reading another pot less post.

O.K, you soon learn the name, but I will never get those precious seconds back....

Crash hat is on, Kevlar jacket being fitted and BOOM

Good Luck

Moss :D

That's exactly what I did. After moving jobs/countries I lost the password for it and no longer have the email I signed up with so cdnvic is just a temporary username until I remember the password to the original. :o

Bertski didn't sound so good. :o

Who are you on about anyway Moss?, c'mon you can tell us.

I thought 'Faithful Tiger' was just a bit too descriptive!

Well I know it wasn't GuestHo' or Bum Mee.

I wanted to be siuging. But I could't spell it..........the rest is history.

I thought of dropping the "Old", but it's too late now. Too many years have passed. :o

So how do I change my user name without losing my hard earned post numbers. As the years go by I will want to change from Crow Boy to Crow Man until eventually I will need to change it to "Crow Old Fart"

CB - still youthful and happy with the current moniker

I actually never posted with it, just lurked. The only real attachment I have to it is it's from the very first months of TV's existence when there were a couple hundred members at most. Different software and a much uglier layout than today for sure. Back then it was pretty much only visa questions.

I didn't start posting here until I actually got to Thailand and had spent a few months building up things to vent about. :o

Do you still remember many of the early members and are they still about.

Apart from George and the good Dr,

Who do you remember most?

Rinrada, Lopburi3, Francois. Really never paid much attention back then. Would have never thought I'd still be coming here over four years later.

"cognoscenti" What a lovely word. Let's all try to use it more in general conversation!
