More than 200 Bush, McCain, Romney aides endorse Harris
You are right -- "It's the economy, stupid" seemed to override any of the concerns expressed by those former Republican officials. We will see if those who saw those economic issues to be the most important voting decision factors get what they wanted. -

Enraged Son-in-Law Attacks In-Laws’ Home, Sets House Ablaze
In a shocking display of violence on November 9, a man from Prachinburi stormed his in-laws’ home in Sanam Chai Khet, Chachoengsao Province, leaving their house destroyed and setting it on fire. The suspect, identified as Mr. Montri (surname withheld), targeted his former in-laws and sent them fleeing for their lives along with their 3-year-old grandchild. The incident occurred in Thung Praya Subdistrict, as Mr. Somkiat (61) and Mrs. Boonsut (61), the victimised parents, recounted. They reported that Mr. Montri, who was previously married to their second daughter, Ms. Manas (34), had threatened and attacked the family multiple times. Ms. Manas has reportedly left the area to avoid further harm, as this was the fourth attack since July 2024. The attacks began on July 6, when Mr. Montri destroyed the windows and doors of their eldest daughter’s house. The second incident took place on October 24, when Mr. Montri damaged property around Mr. Somkiat’s home, poured gasoline around the house, and fired multiple shotgun rounds at the house. Fortunately, no one was injured, though the rear of the house and roof sustained damage. The third incident happened on November 6, when Mr. Montri returned to the home, hurled threats, and smashed Mr. Somkiat’s truck. In this the fourth and most severe attack, at 02:00, Mr. Montri poured gasoline around the house and set it ablaze, reducing it to ashes and destroying their motorbike with a sidecar used for selling vegetables. Following these repeated attacks, local police at Wang Khu Station reportedly visited the site, but residents expressed frustration as the investigation has seen little progress. Officers stated they require clearer evidence before proceeding with charges. Despite the family’s insistence that Mr. Montri is responsible, the case remains stagnant, leaving the family living in fear and only able to return during the day to collect vegetables for sale. The incident has left the community shaken, with many residents calling for stricter enforcement and protection to prevent further violent episodes in the area. Trump's Authoritarian Revolution -- Be Ready, It's Coming Soon
I never wrote, nor do I believe, that everyone who doesn't like Trump is a marxist left-winger. ...and there is room for opposing viewpoints and dissent, contrary to what the hysterical over-reactions against Trump might seem to signal. -

Letitia James is told what time it is.
The NY State fraud trial against Trump was a civil case -- there was no grand jury. And he was found liable for damages -- not "convicted" as in a criminal trial. -

Why Kamala Harris Lost: The Challenges of a Complex Campaign
Hopefully you won't be engaging in your usual anti Trump demonising any more either. He won, time to man up and accept it, and moved on. By all means attack his policies, but all that attacking the man achieved nothing. BTW, he won fair and square, almost from the start. He won the popular vote as well. I was expecting a drawn out process of court cases and recounts, but the rejection of Harris, a woman that never had a popular mandate, was overwhelming and no amount of hand wringing was going to change that. Even HRC won a primary to have legitimacy. One wonders just how the Dems got it so incredibly, so dramatically wrong. The only thing they succeeded at was covering up the reality, first that Biden wasn't a senile idiot for 3 years, and then that Harris had a chance. She didn't, never had and the election showed that in spades. Outright rejected in the swing states, and it wasn't even close. -

British Man Injured in Pattaya Road Rage Incident with Thai Driver
A British man sustained head injuries in a road rage incident with a Thai driver after a minor traffic collision led to a heated confrontation on Pattaya’s busy streets. The altercation took place near the LK Metro Hotel on Soi Buakhao in Pattaya’s Nong Prue district, Chonburi province. Local rescue services were alerted to the scene, where they found Mr. Edward, a British national, bleeding from a head wound and an open cut on his left arm. He claimed to have been struck with a weapon. Nearby, a Thai driver identified as Mr. Arthit, 35, stood with minor injuries. Rescue workers administered first aid on-site before transporting Mr. Edward to a nearby hospital for further treatment. Witnesses reported that the conflict began with a minor collision at an intersection near Leng Kee on Soi Buakhao, leading both drivers to pull over to resolve the matter. Mr. Edward had been riding a black Honda Scoopy motorcycle, accompanied by a Thai woman, while Mr. Arthit was driving a white Mitsubishi car. According to eyewitnesses, the drivers followed each other until they stopped in front of the LK Metro Hotel, where an argument quickly escalated. Bystanders reported that both men were visibly agitated and unable to reach an agreement. Witnesses stated that the situation intensified as Mr Edwards believed bystanders were taking sides. In the heat of the moment, Mr. Arthit, in a display of anger, reportedly grabbed a metal rod, he later claimed in self-defense and struck Mr. Edward, resulting in the British man’s injuries. The Pattaya Police are investigating the incident, reviewing CCTV footage and interviewing witnesses to determine if charges will be filed. Authorities have urged the public to avoid confrontational behaviour and to settle disputes peacefully, particularly in busy public areas where emotions can easily run high.
