Thailand's Immigration Bureau chief Lt-Gen Sompong "Big Oud" Chingduang used a so-called smart car to arrest a South Korean blackmailer, reported Naew Na at a briefing yesterday.

The South Korean embassy in Thailand had informed the Thai police about Mr Lee who was wanted in his home country for secretly recording pictures and video of women having sex.

The victims were also South Koreans.

He then posted the pictures and video in a group and demanded money to remove them.

Mr Lee was also named in an Interpol Red Notice that alerts foreign forces to wanted fugitives.

With the aid of the (BMW) smart car and the Biometrics database the immigration bureau were able to arrest Mr Lee in Sukhumvit Road  Soi 24 in the Klong Toei area of the Thai capital Bangkok.

He was also on overstay, how many days was not reported.

In their standard rhetoric Naew Na reported that this was orders from the highest echelons of the Thai government to keep Thailand safe from Thai and foreign criminals.

They asked the public to keep calling 1178 to report infractions.

When Mr. Lee looked out his window and saw the Smart Car parked below, he went pale. He knew immediately his game was up. With trepidation he just slunk into a corner, awaiting the inevitable...

I think that the Immigration Chief should purchase red capes for his Smart Cars, so they can be known as Super Smart Cars.

If only they could do that for the Red Bull case.

Must be something really important that stops that from happening.

I spy with my little eye, something beginning with M.

But only captured after pressure from Korea... he was already on overstay which seemed to have gone un-noticed by the "smart car"
