Five foreigners among seven new COVID-19 cases in Chonburi

This would spread the cases around the country, and maybe provincial medical facilities could cope, rather than having many cases concentrated in a few provinces.

So your idea to reduce the effect is to spread the infection purposely far and wide, instead of containing it????

It would certainly appear that the Covid Virus is pretty much all over the Country now. There are outbreaks in Prisons, Bars in Bangkok, Wet Markets, Gov,t Officials, and even a Foreign Diplomat

Let's just say it's here in mass, but not reported in mass as there is not enough testing in mass

Not my idea.  I'm all for containment.

Just trying to understand the Thai government's logic behind closing bars, nightclubs etc, thus admitting there is a problem, but still allowing people to travel at Songkran.

Like I said, maybe the problem is already so big that they need to spread it out across the country's medical facilities and then announce a provincial lock down after Songkran.

Does anyone actually know anyone who has had a test?

Surely, the more people you test, the more you will find it?
