Same day Covid test near the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Bangkok ?

Featured Replies

Does anyone know where the nearest same day covid test place is to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Bangkok.

Family are getting new passports on a Friday and would like to fly on the Saturday so a test Friday evening or better, Saturday morning and results back in hours will be needed.

Entry requirements for UK and either Germany (transit) or Switzerland (transit).

Thanks

I don't know a place near there, but you had better hurry up and find a place and make a reservation for your test immediately.   With the recent covid outbreak in BKK, lots of reports say covid tests are difficult to get right now.

Bumrungrad is offering an 8 hour test results, at a cost of 4,700 Baht. They will also do house calls (don't know how much for that)

The nearest hospital to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs offering covid tests is The World Medical Hospital. It is further down Chaeng Wattana Road, on the same side towards Pakkret. They offer "drive through" covid tests for 3000 Baht. However, the results are not normally available until the next day, although if you go early in the morning you might be able to get the results later the same day.

Getting the passports on Friday, will your relatives get the visa on time for a flight on Saturday or Sunday?
