I'm planning on returning to Farangland for an unplanned and most unfortunate family visit sometime during the next coming weeks. I have a government job at a Rajabhat University, a work permit, a NON-B visa and a government health insurance. My question is with regards to the COVID19-insurance (with a coverage of at least 100.000 USD if I'm correct) which apparently is required for any foreigner currently wanting to visit Thailand. Would I still be required to buy this expensive  insurance given that I'm already insured due to my job?

Any help would be highly appreciated.

Cheers!
