Unless, they need respiratory i.e. supplementary Oyxgen or other advanced methods, or iv Fluids or have a superimposed bacterial infection requiring iv Fluids. YES. Why admoit someone to a valuable Hospital bed if they just have a cough, fever, +/- loss of taste and smell etc ???????????

People with Covid should be get treatment. They also should be prosecuted, fined and sent to prison for not obeying the rules clearly set out to stop the spread of Covid. They are a danger to other people.

Because, clearly, if they had been wearing a facemask, using hand sanitizer, and social distancing, then they would not have caught the virus.

If they still got the virus after doing all these things correctly, then there is no reason to tell other people to wear masks and all the rest of it.

They can treat themselves by drinking plenty of fluids and taking paracetamol to reduce fever (assuming their symptoms are mild).

Precisely my point. At least 90% of Covid  patients can be treated at home like this. As well as 2 weeks isolation. Hospitable beds are a highy valuable resource, only to be used if truly necessary.
