All of the Thais I've spoken to about Sinovac think it's a gift from China. In fact according to Thai Enquirer the government has just set aside 321 million baht for 500,000 more shots so that's 642 baht each, 20 USD. That's about 4 times more expensive than Astrazeneca. It's scary that Chinese propaganda is being spread unchallenged and that most Thais lack the critical thinking skills to see through it.
