Beginning June 1, 2021, all travelers to Alaska will be eligible to receive a free COVID-19 vaccine.

Beginning June 1, 2021, at participating airports, all travelers to Alaska will be eligible to receive a free COVID-19 vaccine.

This stated at https://covid19.alaska.gov/travelers/

My understanding is that the vaccines are Pfizer or Moderna. If you stay for 1 month, you will get the second dose for free!

Stop waiting for the Thai government to offer the best vaccines. Book your vacation now!

As far as I know, different U. S. States have slightly different policies.  But in general (federal level), you don't have to be a resident.  In some localities they may refuse you, perhaps a less populated area with limited delivery capability.  I have heard that you do not want to blab to border authorities/immigration that you came for a shot.  Just be cool and be a tourist who happens to find a shot or two while you are there.

They will want ID, but that could be a passport or something from a different country or whatever.  They want to put your name and date of birth on the little vaccination card.  They need some way to get paid by the federal government.

Different states have different current eligibility requirements as far as age/medical condition, but those are rapidly changing.  If you are over 18 years of age, should be no problem. Pretty soon you'll be able to get a shot from a hot dog cart in some major cities.
