I've decided to offer the ice cream driver, who comes around our area when I'm having a nap, a big tip if he chooses another area in the mid afternoon . 

What would be a fair amount? 

I'm thinking about 1000 a month, is that stingy?

Actually, when I first moved here one ice cream man came and charged me 20 baht per icicle, then my younger daughter said 'daddy, that man sells outside my school for 10 baht'. He was never bought from again.
