bdenner Posted May 18, 2021 Posted May 18, 2021 I certainly hope Phuket Vice Governor Piyapong Choowong isn't holding his breath waiting for me to front up at his border with my tourist Baht! Then again I could be a healthy "day tripper" and spend it all in one binge! Wackers! 1

A very sensible decision which will reduce the chance of a new outbreak of the UK strain by 90%+ on the world famous, much loved tropical tourist island. However there will be complaints from many on this forum as that is their default position to complain. Carry on. 3
LivinginKata Posted May 18, 2021 Posted May 18, 2021 Talk about key stone cops. How would pax be allowed on a flight with proof vax or test, airline needs to be held responsible for doc checks.
John435 Posted May 20, 2021 Posted May 20, 2021 Seems fair, so you can come in (domestically) with a negative COVID test? Can’t imagine I’ll be vaccinated by July.

You forget that domestic tourists (foreigners already here) can just drive across a bridge.
