Sorry if this has been asked before. A friend of mine has a tourist visa and she's asking if thai immigration has any intention to allow extension beyond 29th of May. Anyone knows? Thanks.

Almost certainly the answer is yes they will be available post May 29

That announcement however would most likely day or two prior May 29.

BTW has your friend obtained the 'standard' ,30 day extension available to a 60 day tourist visa. She may be required to obtain that prior to using 60 day covid extension
