Can you travel from a orange zone to another? What are the requirement?

Featured Replies

Just a short question. Maybe someone knows it.

If you stay in Phuket with like a STV (Special Tourist Visa) which included the Quarantine, can you travel to other places like Krabi? Or is this also not possible? Do you need a covid test when crossing from a orange zone to another orange zone? As i'm staying in Phuket right now, It's more should i plan for like another months in phuket, which im fine or can i see some other places too?

It's really confusing and hard to get any good source for questions like this.

Thanks for any Infos about this.

Marcel

Although Phuket is now orange it is still a requirement to do 14 days quarantine if you go to Krabi.  Or you can have a negative PCR test within 72 hours or 2 shots of an approved vaccine.

It would be the same if you returned to Phuket.

We did exactly this…….10 days in Phuket and then drove to Krabi. No checks, no quarantine, no problem.

My wife and I are thinking of traveling from Ubon to Pattaya for a few days and then over to Koh Chang. Has anyone done this and what are the restrictions if any. Both of us are Pfizer Vaccinated.  Thank you!

We drove from Nonthaburi (deep red) to Khao Yai for a few days last week.. no one asked anything.
