COVID Immunity May Last Years...If You Get Infected And Are Vaccinated

Featured Replies

Immunity to the coronavirus lasts at least a year, possibly a lifetime, improving over time especially after vaccination, according to two new studies. The findings may help put to rest lingering fears that protection against the virus will be short-lived.

And yet many fully vaccinated people in Singapore, with the Pfizer jab, are getting sick.  Many who've had the virus have also gotten it again.

We need more time to fully understand this virus.  Let's hope immunity last a long time.

According to the article, the immunity builds slowly. So there may not have been enough time.

"May" is a little word with large connotations.

Exactly so maybe the immunity isn't studied fully yet. When using words like may and possibly nobody knows for sure. Could be years before we know definitively or maybe not at all. Ir may also vary substantially between people or age groups or maybe not at all. There's a hell of a lot of mays already and very little certainty.

Thanks for the empty rhetorical nonsense Got any specifics to cite?
