Sanook reported on the case of a 25 year old man who called Ruam Katanyu rescue foundation after claiming he coughed up blood then four three inch nails in a parking lot.

 

While another man at his flats said he saw the nails run up his arm to his forehead.

 

The incident happened in Bang Sao Thong in Samut Prakan and was full of claims about the occult, sorcery, mediums and exorcism. 

 

Phinan, 25, a security guard from Lomsak, Phetchabun, said he was sleeping in his room when he came over all queer. 

 

He went outside and started coughing up blood. Then up came the blood soaked nails. His Cambodian girlfriend saw it all, he said, and then she called for rescue. 

 

This was definitely a case of sorcery, he said, though his girlfriend had never had an argument with anyone. A similar thing that needed exorcism occurred when he was 17.

 

A Ruam Katanyu Rescue worker said he didn't actually see what happened.

 

But another person in the flats called Pornbun said it was all true. 

 

"I saw it with my own eyes," he enthused.

 

He said that he saw the nails running up Phinan's arms before lodging in his forehead.

 

It was shocking - he never believed in such things before, now his hair was standing up. 

 

Phinan said that when he was 17 he coughed up blood and his mum and dad took him to see a doctor who found 27 nails of varying sizes under his skin, though they didn't hurt.

 

A medium was employed to work on the case and Phinan said he puked up the 27 nails. The medium said it was the occult and other mediums warned him to be very careful in his life.

 

Especially when he was 25 - an age called "benjaphaet" in Thai when mysterious and life changing things are meant to happen, notes Thaivisa.

 

Yes, said Phinan he was the son of a spirit at his school now he was a security guard.

The clue is that this nutcase sorcery stuff appears to happen more in undeveloped countries.
