25 million doses of Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson vaccines are being sought by the Thai government, with deliveries expected in the second half of the year, according to Thai Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha today (Tuesday).

20 million Pfizer and 5 million Johnson & Johnson doses are being sought, along with 8 million more Sinovac doses, to reach the goal of 100 million acquired this year, according to Deputy Prime Minister and Public Health Minister Anutin Charnvirakul and Gen Nataphol Nakpanich, Secretary-General of the National Security Council (NSC) and Chairman of the Centre for COVID-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) sub-committee.

61 million doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine have been already ordered by the Thai government, the prime minister said.

If they are being sought, maybe look for them under the bed of the Red Bull guy. Maybe Thailand could

find them both then at the same time.  oops more sarcasm toward, those in Thailand who are seeking

such things for the Thai people.

Geezer

Just got my 2nd Pfizer jab for free in California.  Hopefully they have enough cleaning solution to wipe down the dirty Farang vaccine vials they'll be receiving to meet Thai standards of cleanliness and care.

What ever happened with the Sinopharm that was being procurred in a public announcement only a couple of weeks ago, from a different source to the government? And has been on silent footing ever since.

So Siam Bioscience failed to meet the PM's expectations or not everything made in Thailand was destined for Thailand.

I bet the PM thought Siam Bioscience was going to manufacture solely for his benefit, where he could vaccinate Thai people and sell the rest for a fat profit to other Asian nations?

Siam Bioscience is licensed manufacturer for AZ and can't set price on his own. AZ have made pledge to sell to developing countries at cost price and the pricing will be transparent for comparison by countries.
