Nothing chaotic about the UK vaccination effort - it's going very well - check any website you favour for the numbers.

Chaos was last year when the govt was running around like headless chickens.

I presented myself to Charoen Sin's State Hospital, Sakon Nakhon, on June 7th.

I was not registered in this hospital. There was a chance that I could get the vaccine, if there were enough vaccines. It was suggested to me to come back on Wednesday 9 June.

One hour later I was called back that I could be vaccinated with the Astra Zenica.

And so it happened!

On September 27, 2021 I have to go back for the second time!

I got my first shot of AstraZeneca on Monday. I didn't register beforehand, but the Head Nurse in charge of the inoculation program at out local hospital is a friend of my wife and booked me in.

 

My wife didn't register, but they had vaccine left over and included her. There were 2 other farang who hung around and got added to the program when it was evident there was spare vaccine.

 

 

For anyone so inclined...  The non-accessible Bangrak Vaccination Center in BKK sent me the following info this afternoon:

 

I don't need to wait till things get clearer. Make that at least 3 million minus one.

As my understanding, registrations is not open for foreigner below 60s and underlying health conditions. The news reporting tv shows vaccination center, but many were young people. So it's a different standard for local and foreigner?

Agreed. It’s similar to being “urged to register” as though foreigners are the laggards, when in actual fact for most foreigners, there is no process in place.

Well, they're making slow progress with the website...

 

The nationality and province drop down fields are now populating....

 

But the subdistrict fields are still blank, meaning you still can't proceed.

 

PS - Even though they nominally are only allowing new registrations from Noon to 3 pm, it appears you can still go in and try to update an existing profile even after the 3 pm cutoff....

Not an easy question. To the common man, I've stayed here for 11 years, but immigration recently told me I had not yet stayed here for more than three years.

So basically, in order to avoid being confused, we must just ignora any fake news.

 

This obviously includes all and any news coming from official sources and excludes many unapproved sources (especially those on the Ministries 'kill' list who laughably get their summons delivered through Facebook Messenger) whose stories are likely to contain at least a few grains of truth.

Where is the confusion? Surely no one is surprised.

WHERE ? What is it with people on here who say they have had the  AZ vaccine but won't say where? Is it a secret, or is it BS?
