Can I use a Foreign Currency Account for Marriage Extension or do they accept THB Accounts only? IO Jomtien

Many offices will accept a foreign currency account for an extension. Best to check with Jomtien immigration to confirm what they will accept.

The most positive answer is what ubonjoe said which is to check first with the Jomtiem I.O. before you run out of time.    Because one person on the forum states a positive experience there is no guarantee you will have the same.    

 

Check first to avoid a future bad experience.

otherwise, why did i open the USD account in bangkok bank, and signed all their stupid forms?

Cocktails?     The OP clearly wrote "Foreign Currency Account" and not just "foreign account".

 

Regardless,  whatever you opened is no guarantee for the OP and it definitely isn't obvious.    ????

Immigration wouldn't accept my foreign currency account,although hey had already accepted a friends at the same office

Yeah heard both yes and no on this.. So officer / day/ office dependent. 

I have also not had problems using a US foreign currency account for extension at Jomtien Immigration.
