Hello everyone, My local lumber yard only offers Durian and Sadow (Sadok). How does one go about sourcing different type and size of lumber in Thailand?

Call or msg https://eng.vnswood.com
Talk with them and they should find what you need. I've ordered walnut, poplar, red-oak and ash, just order a little oversized & mill down to your exact dimensions if delivered, or preferably go and select your stock. Good luck

Drive around the province and ask in the shops where they sell windows, doors, etc (not GH, HomePro, etc). Everything in Thailand is available by word of mouth.

+1

I've had wood flooring, doors, kitchen islands built from my own design there when doing up my  apartments.
