I had been worried about getting our new O-A visas back in a timely manner so as to be able to get the COE done on time for our flights. It turned out that I shouldn't have been. I mailed our applications priority express from Washington State on June 17th and included a prepaid return envelope that was also priority express, to my surprise we received our passports with the new visas on June 24th! Hope this helps anyone who is applying or going to apply. 

Well done and helpful information, but the thought occurs that the Consulate staff probably don't have much to do at present!

I've got this mental image of them fighting over the 2 or 3 daily applications to relieve their boredom ????

Right on...they likely haven't seen an OA application in the better part of a year and were so excited to process the first of 2021
