Senior leaders within the Democrat Party say they will not lead the party out of the ruling coalition despite increasing calls by members to leave.

Many rank and file Democrats have begun expressing dissatisfaction at the party’s membership in the government as the administration jumps from one blunder to the next in dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic.

The calls came to a head in a recent party meeting which saw MPs boisterously call on the party leaders to leave the coalition or face disastrous consequences at the next election.

the whole party should have vote on this then the Democrat party could actually claim to be democratic

as it stands it would seem that a few feeders would rather throw principles out the window (assuming they had any) and continue doing what is best for themselves while the people who voted for them are thrown under a dealy covid bus

The party that dares to pull out the plug are heroes. The new elections will reward them probably, because everyone is getting frustrated by this bunch of incompetent men. However of course the MP don't dare to do so because maybe they will loose. So they have decided to stay as long as possible to fill their pockets for as long as it can, because after the elections maybe they don't have the chance anymore

I bet those pristine white uniforms get a little messy during the feeding frenzy at the trough ...

I'm sure there are a few more hanging neatly pressed in the closet waiting to be worn to impress.

while the migrant maid scrubs the knees clean on the latest feeding frenzy trousers.

The gravy train must chug on... no time to derail yet.

What happens if all the non-government members left? No party? Or course not. Enough trough feeders to keep it going, and it's not just party members that vote at elections.

all members leave, join other parties, especially those that move the country forward.
