BANGKOK (NNT) - Thailand’s Centre for COVID-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) has announced that checkpoints are being set up to restrict mobility in the 13 provinces classified as dark-red zones, to prevent COVID-19 from spreading to other areas.

CCSA Spokesman Dr Thaveesilp Visanuyothin said the checkpoints are being built and more security personnel will man them on all roads linking the 13 provinces with their neighbors from 19 July, to prevent interprovincial travel. Travelers from other provinces into the dark-red zones will also be strictly screened.

He urged people to avoid going outdoors during the day, unless they need to purchase necessities, have a doctor’s appointment, to get a COVID-19 jab or for work that cannot be done at home. However, public health officials, transport staff, public transport drivers and people, who have to work outdoors, will be allowed to cross provincial borders.

Dr Thaveesilp also confirmed the announcement by the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand that domestic flights in and out of Suvarnabhumi and Don Mueang airports will stop from 21 July, while the capacities on other forms of public transport will be halved.

I wish I could but have to go and do a nonsensical 90-day report today as the online system is broken.

How about mailing it in?

I did that once before and received nothing back. I don’t trust it.

Never posted it in myself and was considering it as my 90 day report is due beginning of August and I can never get online to work.

Others I know haven’t had problems with it, but once bitten twice shy.

Works fine. Make sure you send EMS. You can also do return EMS if you wish.

Why not just stop the whole nonsense about the 90 days. Criminals will not report themselves evry 90 days, only law abiding people do. Can you imagine all those people at immigration finally can do something useful to catch the real problem makers. The rest can retire early.

I used it last week and got approval within 24 hours. It seems to still be up.

According to the app I’m on a 202 day overstay. Only I’m not. Visa extension good until December 31st this year.

I mailed mine in early June this time; I JUST got back the confirmation/acceptance receipt yesterday (21 July), almost 7 weeks later.  Ridiculously slow.  In theory, I should have already gone to Bangkok Immigration to check and resolve, but I didn't feel like wasting half a day, especially in this Lockdown time.  Lucky I didn't bother going as it finally came.... almost just in time for me to fill out my next 90-report!  Incidentally, I, too, had done it several times by the web app, but it no longer works for me.  Sometimes the web app just doesn't work at all... and other times it just seems to reject my info, which I think is because their database was screwed up a few months ago when their application was broken and not working for a month or so.  Mai bpen rai.....
