Thousands of children in Thailand are having to do online lessons, often via Zoom or other platforms during the pandemic.

And a teacher in Phetchabun in Thailand's north central was not alone in noticing that many kids were nodding off or yawning during the boring lessons.

So Thepthewa Plotphai - Khru Thep for short - decided to spice things up with some fantasy outfits, reported Daily News

The 34 year old teacher at St Gabriel Santipattana in Ban Santisuk teaches early years secondary students.

She has a different outfit or approach for each subject whether it is Thai, Arts or Culture.

The media pictured her dressed as an Indian during lessons about the culture of that country.

If teaching Thai she would don something related to a historical figure.

Along with some dancing and actions she was ensuring that her students were remaining engaged and not dropping off at the other end of the connection.

It´s amazing what they must do to keep students interested in this country. What´s next?

I have the perfect idea for them. Why not take some inspiration from "My first sex teacher" videos? That might just do the trick and keep insomnia at a safe distance.

More like the "run-away bride"

That might work for the little ones.

It's not going to work with the grade 2 and up.

Good for her.  For that pay you have to really "love" that job.

Holding a student's attention and then learning something are two entirely different things. Nothing more than edutainment.

Part of learning anything, the start is discipline and focus.

Good luck to her - trying something different to engage her class. I shudder to think what online learning looks like at most schools. Teachers are increasingly expected to become 'TVesque' screen personalities in these times.
