The quoted Thai article is about foreign laborers - think Burma, Cambodia and Laos and nothing to do with Farangs. It may have escaped your minuscule intellect that English is the most widely spoken language globally (Despite the delusions of some that it may be Thai) so if wanting to communicate with any foreigner in most other countries ,English is the default language of choice. Just as whenever I went to Ramathipodee they tried to insist that I should go up to the VIP third floor to pay 'normal' rates for foreigners (which our quotes revealed were double to three times the amount for having stents inserted).
