Renewing British passport

I am unable to travel to Bangkok to renew my passport. Are there any alternatives?

Passports are not issued by the British Embassy.

I just sent mine to my daughter in UK, she had already sent me form

which I filled in and sent back to her, used her address , she took it

to P.O. ,about 10 days later new passport sent to her, she forwarded

to me, went very well, if you do that way, you will need to email

UK embassy BKK, and ask for letter asking Immigration to transfer

over Visa. so if you have family in UK maybe an option for you.

Can you not renew online (no need to complete a physical form) ? If asked for old passport then send it to a 'friend' to forward on to the Gov address?

Not officially, if renewing from Thailand.

It is a mess use an agent who uses the UK Passport offices agent and pay a little bit more each time, this took nearly 3 months last time, maybe some bright spark in  the UK government can come up with something better??
