I've just received a Pattaya news article stating that 60 yrs and older + the usual "or" medical/pregnancy criteria persons, can register on the Thailandintervac site for local jabs.

The "hospital" to select (for Pattaya) would be BHP, but the vac's are to take place on the 6th floor of Central festival.

There are 2 problems:

The first is that the reg' period opens on 16th --- and closes on 20th August.

The second, and potentially bigger problem, is that the vac's are only scheduled for 5 days in September ---  1st - 9th. But that's not all --- The vac's will only be done on Tue/Wed/Thu --- which means 1st/2nd/7th/8th and 9th!

Apparently one will be able to choose vac's, but if you want AZ for the first, and AZ for the 2nd jab, Tue the 7th Sep' is THE ONLY DAY when it will be done.

Choc Dee with that!

Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

NB

I was on the 6th floor of Festival Hall earlier this week and BPH do have a team there administering vaccinesy.

Champion place to have it? More cases there than anywhere in Pattaya

It’s an excellent place to set up a vaccination center.

It’s totally deserted, apart that is from the supermarket and a few food outlets, which are themselves near empty.

People arriving for vaccination can park on the 6th floor  car park and take a very short walk to the vaccination station.

Its a very smart choice of location.

What in a mall that is almost completely closed down?

Or are you referring to cases before it was closed down?

It was closed for one day way back....Pattaya news Fri.13. Timelines  Central Food Court.....Are you not in Pattaya?

As I stated above, I went into the mall

earlier this week.

The place is almost entirely closed and there is virtually nobody there, other than those attending vaccination and a handful in the ground floor supermarket.

Your objections to one floor of the mall being used as a vaccination station are clearly based on a lack of knowledge about the level of occupation and activity within the building.

OP;  seems to be a great deal of choice to me. I don't understand your apparent complaint.

Success!

On the first attempt I got AZ-AZ app't on 7th Sep'.

Only one problem: they asked me to "screen-shot" the confirmation, but I don't know how to do that, and anyway, I registered using my laptop and I don't have a printer.

Hopefully, they will now have me on file, and will accept just my passport.

A picture of your computer screen taken with your phone would have solved that issue.

Tried to register first thing this morning but would not let me select a time slot for the AZ vaccs

Now, showing full, so good bye once again.

What a mess.

Chakatee

I never thought of that -- thanks.

However, just after getting that app't, I got an offer by phone from Samitivej Hospital, Sriracha, for a Pfizer jab today (17/08/21) so, when I return, I shall be cancelling the other one.
