Is another quote from the article which indicates that immunity wanes over a period of time. This has always been understood to be the case and why boosters vaccinations approximately every 6 months have always been on the table.

Because a lot of people would have refused such a deal... if told.

It can't work with a coronavirus that mutate/recombines a lot.

Nowhere in the article is the number of hospitalizations in Israel mention, which begs the question ‘60% of what?’.

 

Nor is any information provided on the demographics of those hospitalized or any indication of co-morbidities.

 

But article does mention this could be a forewarning of what the UK and the US have in front of them.

 

Perhaps easier to simply get the data from the US, Alabama, Mississippi, Texas, Florida - States with low uptake of vaccines, surging infection rates and hospitals running out of ICU beds.

 

Nah, let’s talk about Israel and 60% of what is not stated.

Very misleading information about Israel. As usual, it's complex with no easy answers. Reality is less than 60% of Israelis are fully vaccinated. The vaccine is waning and a majority who got the jab early were elderly or had underlying issues.

 

Big super spreader events are coming from schools.

 

Like the yearly flu shot, we'll probably be getting boosters for years to come. Variants will keep cropping up until more are vaccinated.

 

Shame on the anti vaxxers. The scourge of modern times.

They have a very high vaccination rate for ELEGIBLE citizens. Those over 12. For the TOTAL population, it's under 60%. Or right about there.
