I would have thought that there would be some relationship between the number of cases and number of vaccines - but alas not. The number of vaccines appears to have flatlined.

215 people have controversially received their 4th jab. These are apparently medical personnel going abroad to study. They first got Sinovac (x2) then AstraZeneca as the booster. But as Sinovac is not recognised at their destination, they then got Pfizer too #Thailand

This is what happens when you have a chaotic vaccine plan. Wasted money on extra vaccines and a diluted equal distribution.

I always wonder, why have the numbers been so stable in recent weeks, every day 20,000 new cases (+/-1,000)? 

 

Keeping an eye on other countries' numbers, new case numbers seem to fluctuate much more...

Overall mortality rate is creeping up, 0.90% now, could be due to the overwhelmed hospitals, those dying at home and triage in ICU. Of course its much higher in Bangkok

It's cooking the books. What they can't get away from is ICU and intubated. Deaths are running in the mid to high 200's everyday and have moved into the 300's. As harsh as this may sound these deaths free up spots in ICU yet the ICU and intubated numbers continue to hover in a small range. If things are getting better this would not be the case.

The antibody count is one of the factors determining immunity, among others. The US FDA does not currently recommend using antibody tests to determine level of immunity:

 One interesting thing is the lack of info about people who had covid twice. From the charts I've seen, their antibody levels are quite below compared to the vaccinated people, yet there is not much data about them getting covid again. I would assume that if it was quite frequent headlines would appear here and there. Currently EU accepts covid digital certificates for people who have been sick less than 180 days ago,  so presumably after that period they can get sick again...but do they?

 

I was looking for all-encompassing test to determine my immunity level,  there is none at the moment. This is especially important for people with auto immune diseases. However for immunisations like Hep B the surface antibody test has been accepted to determine immunity for long time. Hopefully FDA would have more info soon.

 

It's pretty interesting that western scientists for quite some time have clearly been saying that antibody measurements post vaccination alone are NOT synonymous with immunity / protection / vaccine efficacy results.

 

But the Thai virologists keep churning out the antibody test findings time after time, and AFAICT, never even mention the cautions advised in the west. And I'm sure it's just a coincidence that their antibody test results usually end up being an endorsement of one kind of another of the Sinovac vaccine.... ????

CCSA Operation Center met today. MFA shared the latest data on Expatvac registration and reiterated the urgent need to expedite the vaccination of foreign residents under Expatvac. So I hope for more vac next week. I’m sorry for not having better news.

Well know there is a surprise…findings from a Thai “authority” that support the Governments agenda….certainly wouldn’t be the first time.

Applying logic it really doesn’t make any sense that 2 doses of AZ would provide less protection than Sinovac and AZ…the only way it makes sense is that it is a false narrative to support a governemt agenda.

 

Throughout this pandemic in Thailand anyone who has applied Logic has been proven correct. Anyone that believed government information at face value has been proven wrong.

Pattaya Mayor reveals results of 10-day proactive Covid-19 community testing in Pattaya

 

Pattaya, Thailand-

 

The Pattaya Mayor, Sonthaya Khunplume, revealed the results today after ten days of proactive Covid-19 community testing using Rapid Antigen Test Kits (ATK).

 

The proactive testing was not for “walk-ins” but was for open community testing targeting high-risk communities and places in the general population in Pattaya. Chonburi regularly conducts close to 2,000 tests a day but most of these are targeted around close contacts of previous cases and workplaces, migrant worker communities, factories, and similar establishments where previous clusters have taken place.

Understand but below was the post. I would like to see some data on this. If some areas are doing "remarkably well" then I guess some areas aren't. Being that I haven't seen a provincial breakdown and the poster obviously has, otherwise cannot claim this, it would be great for this data to be shared.

As for vaccinations in Issan I haven't seen a provincial breakdown as I remember (covid brain definitely setting in so who knows) but this is Kalasin.
