Why I left Thailand
You can live well in Thailand until your health suffers. It isn't the occasional doctor visits, medicines or even some surgery that costs too much, it is the constant return visits for dialysis or something really chronic. Getting health insurance is really expensive. I can understand why Spain might be good if the same health requirements are free or cheap. -

EU health Support is only valable in Thailand if your stay is a vacation. EU healthcare insurance doesn't pay if your stay is not a vacation. Kaw Yai? -
