Thailand eases COVID-19 restrictions - but only for people who are vaccinated

Thailand will lift most coronavirus restrictions on retail and dining from next month and permit gatherings of up to 25 people in Bangkok and other high risk areas, its COVID-19 task force said on Friday.

Rosewood Bangkok temporarily closes following Covid crisis

Thammasat University authorized to import Vaccines

BANGKOK (NNT) - Thammasat University has officially become the latest government entity authorized to import medicines related to COVID-19 prevention and treatment, including vaccines, as announced on the Government Gazette. The announcement effectively provides a new official channel to import COVID-19 vaccines into Thailand to manufacturers that are currently dealing with government entities only.

Registration opens for expats in Phuket to receive Pfizer

Bangkok to conduct mass screenings at 29 large wet markets in the capital

Bomb explodes on Bangkok bound freight train in Narathiwat province

A special train, bound for Bangkok from Su-ngai Kolok district of the southernmost province of Narathiwat, was hit by a bomb blast today (Saturday). The device is believed to have been hidden among boxes containing fruit in a freight car.

Record number of COVID-19 vaccinations in single day on Friday in Thailand

China donates medical devices worth 50 million baht

China has agreed to provide medical equipment, including oxygen generators and fingertip oximeters, valued at 10 million yuan (about 50 million baht), to Thailand to help in the fight to contain the COVID-19 pandemic.
