Hello,

a friend of mine was planning to come to Thailand in October this year. 

On the US Embassy Website https://thaiembdc.org/visas/ it says , quote: 

Quote

 U.S. Passport Holders are not required to obtain a visa when entering Thailand for tourism purposes and will be permitted to stay in Thailand for a period not exceeding 45 days** on each visit

(**Previous permitted period of stay was 30 days; the extension to 45 days will be in effect until 30 September 2021) 

So that means after the 30 of September he'll get only 30days instead of 45days? right. 

Is their a possibility they will extend that 45 days exception further?  

Unless they end the 14 day quarantine I think they will extend the 45 day order.
