Another great effort…….. if not quite the “900,000+ on a Friday” the conspiracy theorists were hoping to see.

Upvote for your post, Health Minister Anutin predicted 1 million a day, conspiracy theory or not. Show of support for all the nurses and associated helpers who achieved these figures. downvote for Anutin.

The news comes as the Ministry of Public Health has addressed concerns brought up by the Center for COVID-19 Situation Administratio’s (CCSA) Adviser Dr. Udom Kachinthorn, who believes that there may be 6-7 million asymptomatic COVID-19 infected individuals yet to be discovered within the population.

6-7 million ? If that's the case he better make sure the testing continues to decrease to make sure it does not show up or the TAT will come a knocking due to Thailand being on every country red list

Just earlier this week a doctor was in the media saying Phuket's health system was close to breaking point with 80% occupancy across the board?

Yes I read that but the Phuket News publishes daily updates of red patients, those in ICU and they have not actually increased this last week. The number of normal beds for covid cases is different to the number of beds they have for normal cases and its the covid beds they were referring to.

The number of hospital beds remaining available stood at 398, or just 16.86% of the total number of beds designated for COVID patients

Prison cases are only used to lower the numbers of the general public.. It looks better if the infections are going down or not to quick up... So if the cases are not so much a few prisons cases if it looks worse more prisons cases. However this morning on the news channel there was a topic that there was something stolen in jail and if you see how many prisoners are in a cell it is no wonder that there are a lot of cases too... surely not 2 m distance but man to man there.. The responsible Government

I also truly believe the Prison Authorities are placing a huge emphasis upon this " Green Chireeta " herbal remedy. for Covid.

This crud has been cited, by the Prison Authorities themselves,  as being a wonderful prevention against any symptoms of Covid getting worse.

If they have been feeding the Inmates on this stuff for a while now, I think the symptoms they refer too are getting so much worse, as the stuff is useless.

Ironically, it were any use at all, the Thais would be Exporting Tons of the stuff, and not wasting it on Prisoners

But what do you know ? Non is being Exported, and Countries that do not perform Black Magic are not Importing it either.

The there is also the frantic assembly of Field Hospitals.

Another indication that the Hospitals and health system on Phuket is close to breaking.

Seesaw for Udon Thani, up, down, down, up, up.  Makes me wonder about the testing being done and how full the hospitals might be.
