DBath
These are no doubt very, very difficult times for all of us. What do you do to take your mind off all the chaos and escape the whole topic of covid? Edited September 11, 2021 by DBath
Popular Post tonray
I spend most of my time on ThaiVisa, learning from erudite membership. Just this week I've learned that Ivermectin can keep me free from Covid and kill those worms I get from those fermented paddy crabs in my SomTam. 8

mfd101
Reading, reading, reading ... After 40 minutes gym in the morning (3 or 4 times a week, always aiming for 5 but haven't yet managed that since we arrived back from Oz in late 2015). Making lists of things to do - both at the family farm and here around the house. Unless I push, nothing here gets done. All at the farm. (Funny that.) Modifying the lists of things to do, pushing back the dates. Endlessly. Currently: Beginning to gather my strength for the annual renewal horrors, and saving my shekels for the mandatory health insurance. B/f always needs more cash for the 3rd house we're building at the farm ...

I feel you, I moved to Spain a month ago, but I still can't seem to shake free from TVF. BTW, have you seen that the whole Ivermectin scam was just that - a scam. Perhaps you should follow another news source. Edited September 11, 2021 by DBath 2 2

Nope she will not buy the cheap stuff or knockoffs, she makes her own money and either saves it until she has enough to buy what she wants, like today, or she just leaves it in one of her bank accounts.
Popular Post connda
What do you do to pass the time during covid? I do the same things I did before Covid. Not much has changed other than having to don a mask to make others feel safe when I enter a Big-Box hypermart for bi-monthly shopping. Of course I have other activities my life revolves around other than shopping at the mall, going to restaurants, and getting drunk at bars. I have a nice, boring, "retiree living in the rural boondocks of a third-world country" type of life - tend to your garden, enjoy your family and the beauty of nature in Northern Thailand. So not much has changed. If people are depressed because they feel the activities that they used to love are no longer available to them - perhaps they should use this time to reflect on what is really important in life and reprioritize their lives. I don't dwell on it or worry about the things I can't change. I leave the fear and worry to others. I have friends, family, and acquaintances who are doing double duty in the New Normal fear and depression realm. They generate enough fear and worry for themselves as well as me. Why should I add to it? I feel for them all - I'm glad I'm not them. 7

It's her own money so I don't say diddley. As happy wife is an accommodating wife.

Popular Post RichardColeman
As I am currently outside Thailand in the UK and the town has like about hundred charity shops, browsing, buying and trying to make a few quid on ebay. Some you win , some you break even, but few games and toys picked up for £1 that sold on ebay for £100-130 each. Can't complain - pays the wife's rent and school fees for the family
