Koh Samet Any restrictions?

Featured Replies

Anyone been to Koh Samet recently. Looking for a short break there next month. Had both my jabs but wonder if there are any other restrictions getting to the island and staying at a hotel. I definitely don't want any Covid tests.

Thanks for asking I am planning same thing so very interested in the responses.

I was told in a different thread that Samed comes under Rayong.

I think we will just have to see what the changes will be when they "open" the country next month.

It doesn't matter if you have the shot or not. Koh Samet is a very free island without major controls. Been to the island three times this year without any problems. The best beaches are wonderfully empty.

Upon arrival by boat briefly put on the mask, temperature check and enter your nickname with any phone number. Then enjoy the vacation.
