webfact
By Pear Maneechote Lisa “Lalisa” Manoban, the Thai member of the K-pop girl group BLACKPINK, has made history yet again by being the first K-Pop female act to chart Number 1 on a sales chart by US-based Billboard with her new single “Money” from her debut album LALISA. This marks the artist’s first No.1 spot, first Top 10 and first appearance overall on the 15-space tally on Billboard’s Rap Digital Song Sales by selling the most copies in the US during the past week, as well as beating Canadian rapper Drake’s “Way 2 Sexy” by rising to the top spot on the list. With her career based in South Korea, Lisa is the third solo musician from South Korea to hit no.1 on the chart, and the first woman from the country. GammaGlobulin
Far preferable, compared to Tiger Woods, IMHO. Nothing wrong with K-pop, either!
GammaGlobulin
Googling Manoban, for her real name, all I can find is: ลลิษา มโนบาล But, this cannot be her real name, obviously. Probably her real name is: ปราณปริยา มโนบาล Although, she also has a Korean name, of course. I like K-pop. More power to her. She's copying that Chinese foppishness of simply picking a Western name. It's as if I would call myself "Yichen" going forward. Nice girl though. Can't sing. But very nice mover. I would let her love me. If anyone can forward my details to her, let me know.
