Infection spike in four of Thailand’s border provinces an issue of concern for CCSA

The Centre for COVID-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) has expressed concern over the increasing number of new infections in the southern provinces of Yala, Pattani, Narathiwat and Songkhla, while infections in Bangkok and its neighbouring provinces are steadily declining.

Now 7-day stay for Sandbox tourists from any country in the world

 

Thailand’s new quarantine regulations reduce mandatory stay in pilot reopening destinations from 14 to seven days, effective 1 October, 2021.

Bangkok, 1 October, 2021 – The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) would like to advise that under new quarantine regulations approved by the Royal Thai Government, fully vaccinated foreign tourists visiting Phuket, Surat Thani, Phang-Nga, and Krabi via the relevant sandbox programmes can now stay for only seven days before being able to move on to other parts of Thailand.

Phuket marks 182 new COVID cases, no new deaths

PHUKET: The latest Phuket Provincial Public Health Office (PPHO) daily COVID situation report has marked 182 new local infections confirmed across the island yesterday (Oct 1) bringing the total number of people recognised as infected with COVID-19 in Phuket since Apr 3 to 11,298.
