webfact Posted October 5, 2021 Share Posted October 5, 2021 Image: PPHO By The Phuket News PHUKET: The latest Phuket Provincial Public Health Office (PPHO) daily COVID situation report has marked 177 new local infections confirmed across the island yesterday (Oct 4) bringing the total number of people recognised as infected with COVID-19 in Phuket since Apr 3 to 11,834. The PPHO report, marked as accurate as of 8pm last night, and posted online at 9:37pm, reported three new infections among Sandbox tourist arrivals and two new infections among non-Sandbox arrivals from abroad. The report also marked three new deaths attributed to COVID-19, bringing the total number of deaths in Phuket attributed to COVID-19 since Apr 3 to 83. Of those, 63 deaths have occurred since Sept 4. Eight of those deaths have been in the past three days.
