On Heroes Day, Indonesia logs 480 new Covid-19 cases

As of Wednesday, November 10, National Heroes Day, the Indonesian Covid-19 Task Force has documented 480 new instances of infection in the previous 24 hours.
The total number of Covid cases in Indonesia has reached 4,249,323.


299,600 specimens were examined to find the new cases.
The Indonesian government has tested one of the biggest number of specimens in a single day.


Indonesia had 9,537 active cases on Wednesday, down 65 from the day before.


Over 50 new cases were reported in five provinces on the Indonesian island of Java.
West Java had 77 cases, East Java had 65, Yogyakarta had 59, and Central Java had 58.

 

Bengkulu, Southeast Sulawesi, Gorontalo, West Sulawesi, and Maluku were among the provinces that did not report any new cases.


Covid-19 claimed the lives of another 41 victims today.
Covid has claimed 143,592 lives in Indonesia so far.


In addition, the country reported 531 fresh recoveries, bringing the total to 4,096,194.
