Video: Crowds at Chachoengsao festival test the New Normal - governor boasts 85% vaxxed

77kaoded reported with a video from the revival of an old festival in the showgrounds in front of the town hall in Chachoengsao in east/central Thailand last night.

 

Most people were masked up and showing their vax status on their phones on entry as the event - held for 131 years - progressed.

The media said that events like these were a test of the new normal in the pandemic/post pandemic era. 

 

The provincial governor was there proudly claiming that 85% of the population was now vaccinated as the crowds enjoyed the freedom to get out and begin enjoying life again.

Yes obviously and the local Province is 60.6% vaccinated as in the link I provided if you actually bothered to look.

I like the laws coming into one of the EU countries - lockdown for the unvaccinated ! Nobody should be forced to be vaccinated - but if you wanna stay home, I'm OK with that ????
