Almost all HCMC kids aged 12-17 get first vaccine shot

More than 651,400 of 701,800 children 12-17 years old in HCMC, or 92.8 percent, have got at least one Covid-19 vaccine shot.

There were no cases of severe reactions after injection.

Authorities said 54 children had normal reactions, 560 with underlying diseases were transferred to hospitals to get vaccinated, and 12 showed contraindications to the vaccine.
