I wonder why its pornography and not prostitution.

It’s the same. The existence of a camera could be, in short, the only difference between pornography and prostitution.

Not that i have anything against porn, infect, i have my own.. but is this really the need of the hour to make noises about? aren't there more pressing issues at hands other than legalizing porn?...

Some people can laugh and chew gum at the same time!

So if I turn up with a camera, they will pay me? Sounds great.

It's a bit like the Olympics, the majority watch while others participate.

Shame wanting to allow porn in a country that does not have prostitution according to the Government. Time to completely ban alcohol as this weakens the will of good clean living people.

I’ve noticed all the thai “only fans”arrests recently have been women - but plenty of thai guys doing it too.

Needs to be legalised asap it’s 2022 nearly and nobody getting hurt.

This group monetises their website which has in some instances member adult content. My opinion is that this is a commercially oriented petition and nothing to do with the broader subject of prostitution.

I now have ANOTHER reason for upgrading my camera!  I'll need a business card too (Porn Producer and Filmography) but damn I'll have to change my VISA to one that allows me to 'work'. Question:  If I don't charge for filming porn is that considered work? ????

Anybody can watch porn in Thailand. Why bother legalizing it?

Gambling - same same

Prostitution - same same

Road traffic laws - why bother with laws?

No, anybody can not watch porn in TH.
The majority of porn websites are blocked and can only be accessed if you have a VPN service.
Completely agree on the other three items.

I applaud those returned bar girls in our village who retreat to their rooms early in the evening, not to be seen until the next day. Whatever it is they do in there, it then results in them heading into town, and coming back with bags of groceries.

In contrast, others stomp around scowling all day, complaining that they tried to sell meatballs for a few hours in the morning, and only got a few baht. Though they're not putting their hands out, they do this knowing full well it results in their 70 year old grandparents digging into their pockets.
