You ever rode a Tenere 700 ?

Yes, a bit under powered for my liking but a nice bike. 

The OP has lots of adjustments he just has to get to know how to use them.

The OEM spring rate is suitable for a rider with about 70kg weight, not including additional load like luggage, accessories or passenger.

With the original spring it's impossible to adjust to the correct bike sag if you have a weight more than ~70kg with gear.
