PM Proposes 3 Priorities to Strengthen Relations between ASEAN and China

BANGKOK, Nov 22 (TNA) – Prime Minister Gen Prayut Chan-cha proposes three priorities to further strengthen and deepen relations between ASEAN and China.

 

Prime Minister and Defense Minister Gen. Prayut Chan-o-cha on Monday attended via a teleconference the ASEAN-China Special Summit to Commemorate the 30th Anniversary of ASEAN-China Dialogue Relations which was co-chaired by His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam and President Xi Jinping of People’s Republic of China.

 

According to Government Spokesperson Thanakorn Wangboonkongchana, the Prime Minister extended his congratulations on the 30th Anniversary of ASEAN-China Dialogue Relations.

Perhaps before being able to trust China as a country with any relations whatsoever, China must:

 

1) Withdraw its militarization and takeover of the South China Sea

2) Cease further provocation and threats to invade and take over Taiwan

3) Stop the genocide, rape, forced labour, and torture by releasing the million Uyghurs held in concentration camps in Xinjiang

How strong is this Oriental Axis going to be when China eventually invades Taiwan? Which side will Asean members align themselves with then? Do they, in turn, risk the threat of invasion too or will they be merely vassal states of the PRC?
