Paid for visa but still saying payment pending

Just submitted and paid 60GBP for my Non-O visa through the London embassy. On the eVisa system it's still saying 'Payment Pending', even though the money has left my account. Is this normal?

It will be changed to paid after the embassy processes the application and payment.

You're not the only one and there is apparently a current problem with the evisa payment system.  Another thread has been started here:
